What We Believe

Salvation comes by faith in Christ alone. Period.

Works are not required for salvation.

The gospel of Christ is as follows, that Jesus, who was fully God on earth, died for the sins of the world according to the scriptures, which are God breathed (2 Tim. 3:16). He died, was buried and rose again on the third day (1 Cor. 15:1). Salvation, the grace of God which saves us from the sin that separates us from Christ, is received through FAITH ALONE in CHRIST ALONE. Works, of any kind, are not required in receiving salvation (Eph. 2:8-9)(Gal 2:16).

We stand firm on the sufficiency of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has made a way for all mankind to move from death to life. He has bridged the gap of separation that existed between mankind and God because of sin. In our belief in him and what was accomplished on the cross, we are made perfect and will spend eternity with Christ. The wrath of God was satisfied because of the finished work of Christ on the cross. When Jesus said “It is finished” he meant it (John 19:30).

We do NOT believe that the acceptance of the gospel includes surrendering your life, turning from your sins, repentance of sins or making him Lord of your life. These actions or proclamations are not a condition of obtaining or keeping salvation. Any self-focused gospel that relies on the individual’s own, self-righteous works is false. Any individual who relies on themselves and their good works will be left on the last days where God will proclaim to them, “ depart from me, I never knew you.”

We stand firmly on the solid rock of Christ and are unashamed of the true gospel that has power to save souls. It has nothing to do with what we did or are doing for him. We can offer nothing and are dead in our sins. Jesus Christ, in his perfection, lived a sinless life and thus, was able to pay the penalty for our sins to bring us back into right relations with him (2 Cor 5:21). We can rest in his power knowing that through simple belief, we can spend eternity with him.

All other gospels are false. Paul warns us about these gospels that are man-centered, works-based, full of traditions of men and are doctrines of demons. Jesus taught us to be on guard against false prophets who come in wolves in sheep’s clothing (Matt. 7:15). Any gospel that deviates from faith alone falls into this category.

It is our mission that you will be able to seek and accept the true gospel which comes through our belief in Christ, what he accomplished on the cross and through his resurrection.
